IBA-OGDCL TALENT HUNT PROGRAM-2023
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Pakistan has teamed with the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) to create the IBA-OGDCL Talent Hunt Program. This initiative seeks to enable students from underserved regions and communities around Pakistan with the opportunity to develop their aptitude abilities and obtain training at IBA. The programme would pick students from designated districts and give them with a two-month orientation training at the International Business Academy in Karachi. The training will prepare students for the IBA's admission tests, and successful participants will be eligible to enrol in the institute's four-year undergraduate degree programme. This collaboration between IBA and OGDCL has been ongoing since 2016, with 27 students receiving scholarships totaling 76.9 million rupees.
Features of the program
1.Orientation training provided by highly skilled IBA teachers and mentors
2.Preparation for the SAT type aptitude test
3.Training in presentation and communication skills
4.Tutoring and counselling sessions on an individual basis
5.Panel interviews and mock tests
6.Sessions with guest speakers
7.Completely paid out-of-town candidates' travel, boarding, and housing expenses
8.Selected applicants receive a monthly stipend.
Who can Apply/
1. Only candidates with a residency in the above-mentioned districts are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates who completed the HSSC-I examination in 2022 and will take the HSSC-II examination in 2023 are eligible to apply.
3. Candidates who completed the HSSC-II exam in 2022 are eligible to apply.
